Data model in database

 

• Initially DBMS ---Database management system.
• Then RDBMS---Relational database management system.
• Data is organized in rows and columns.

 

1. Conceptual.:

It describes the semantics of an organization. i.e departments in the company and their relationship.

2. Logical:

XML, tags, logics in columns.

Eg: SSN, employee etc..

3. Physical.:

How the data is actually stored in physical warehouse.
